Ragalaya ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Discord bot and website (collectively, the "Service").

  • Discord User IDs & Server IDs: To identify users for premium features, permissions, and configuration settings.
  • Command Usage Data: Logs of commands used for debugging, statistics, and abuse prevention.
  • Voice Channel Data: We access voice channels solely to transmit audio. We do not record, store, or analyze voice conversations.
  • Music Preferences: Favourites and playlists you explicitly save within the bot.

2. How We Use Your Information ⧉

Your data is used strictly for:

  • Providing and maintaining the Service (e.g., playing music, managing queues).
  • Verifying Premium membership status.
  • Improving the functionality and stability of the bot.
  • Preventing abuse or violations of our Terms of Service.

3. Data Storage & Security ⧉

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Data is stored in secure databases (Supabase) with restricted access. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services ⧉

Our Service relies on third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices:

  • Discord: Data access is governed by the Discord Developer Policy.
  • Audio Providers (YouTube, Spotify, JioSaavn, SoundCloud): We process links from these services to stream audio but do not share your personal data with them directly.

5. Data Retention ⧉

We retain your settings and favourites indefinitely to provide a seamless experience. Temporary session data (queues) is cleared when the bot leaves the voice channel.

6. Your Rights ⧉

You may request the deletion of your data (favourites, configurations) by contacting us on our Support Server. Removing the bot from your server does not automatically delete configuration data stored in our database.
